Jhalak 2016 | 11/12/16 | Austin, TX | Hogg Auditorium

Hosted by the Indian Cultural Association at The University of Texas at Austin, Jhalak is the LARGEST South Asian NATIONAL talent show in the State of Texas. With over $3,000 in prize money, the show seeks to showcase the best and brightest teams from all over the nation under one roof.

Jhalak is a cultural extravaganza featuring educational videos, mouth-watering Indian food, and exhilarating dance performances. Celebrating its 16th year, Jhalak began with humble roots in the atrium of the UT business school. The event was known to draw crowds of people and quickly became a favorite to UT students. The need for a more intimate, indoor venue became evident and Jhalak moved yet again to Hogg Auditorium. Most notably, last year’s show sold out 15 minutes after the show began and over 1,100 people were in attendance.

This year’s Jhalak will be held on November 12th, 2016 at Hogg Auditorium located on the University of Texas campus. The fun doesn’t stop when Jhalak ends. The Indian Cultural Association and Beta Chi Theta will host the official Jhalak After Party in the Heart of Austin’s Sixth Street!
