Hosted by the Indian Cultural Association at The University of Texas at Austin, Jhalak is the LARGEST South Asian NATIONAL talent show in the State of Texas. With over $3,000 in prize money, the show seeks to showcase the best and brightest teams from all over the nation under one roof.

Jhalak is a cultural extravaganza featuring educational videos, mouth-watering Indian food, and exhilarating dance performances. The need for a more intimate, indoor venue became evident and Jhalak moved yet again to Hogg Auditorium. Most notably, last year’s show sold out 15 minutes after the show began and over 1,500 people were in attendance.
